According to information from Speedzone, a motorcycle dealer in Singapore, the 2022 Yamaha Delight is priced at around 4,500 Singapore dollars. Converted at the exchange rate from July 17, 2023, this amounts to approximately IDR 51 million.
For comparison, with a budget of around IDR 51 million in Indonesia, consumers could consider a sportbike like the Yamaha MT-25.
The Yamaha Delight is powered by a 125cc engine and features a 5.5-liter fuel tank. This capacity is larger than that of some Yamaha scooters marketed in Indonesia—such as the FreeGo and Lexi—which have tanks of around 4.2 liters.
In terms of fuel efficiency, the Yamaha Delight is also economical; it is claimed to require approximately 1.8 liters of gasoline to cover a di stance of 100 kilometers.
Given these characteristics, the Yamaha Delight is well-suited as a commuter vehicle for daily activities, including trips to public transport hubs like the MRT.
Interestingly, at a similar price point, consumers in Singapore can also find the Yamaha Aerox. However, the Aerox’s popularity in Singapore is reportedly not as high as it is in Indonesia and Malaysia.
